...a z-scale modeler
            my workbench

It's next to the kitchen, a conversion from the roughly 7'-6" x 7'-6" breakfest nook. I had to make sure, it can maintain a civilized appearance when needed. It's too clean for my eyes, but sometimes (not too frequently) I can compromise.
Now, it looks more like a workbench, but still too civilized. At least, a good start. As I'm "warming up", more and more tools and parts are coming out of the drawers and the upper cabinets...
Finally, this is the look I really like. Interestingly I find everything needed to keep going. My small machines are attached to good size cutting boards, so parts and pieces can be kept near the machines when I change set-ups. Al my machines are stored in the upper cabinets.
