The #21867 kit includes all the etched and machined
brass parts required to build the locomotive shell as
shown (plus a few extra detail parts), instructions to assemble the shell and modify the Marklin 8800, 8805
or 88051 ( 0-6-0 ) locomotive chassis (chassis not included).The locomotive's roof and the roof vent grill
detail has been factory pre-formed, but minor adjustments needed during assembly. Pre-etched holes on the roof can be utilized for roof details as desired. or plugged with soldering tin. Holes for the smoke stacks and lights need to be adjusted. (Fiber optics are included for custom light installation, light bulbs or LEDs are not included.) The
Marklin couplers of the locomotive chassis can be easily converted to MTL using the #902 kit (not included).
